Please read these terms and conditions carefully before
accepting the same.
All confirmed registrations are NON Transferable.
A non refundable amount as REGISTRATION FEES will have to be paid by all the buyers
who are selected to attend the Bengal Travel Mart, 2024.
Buyer Registration Amount: INR 10,000/- including GST.

Fam Trip Date: 14, 15 & 16 December 2024 (80 Seats Limit) - APAI (4 Star
Accommodation)
Exclusion of Liability - BTM takes no responsibility:
For the insolvency or failure of any Travel Company or Hotel or ground handling
company or other supplier
For travel cancellation or other delay
If the Buyer is refused permission to board the aircraft or other mode of transport
or is refused entry to any country.
For any delay or loss of baggage or excess baggage charges (any subsequent dispute
shall be directly between the Buyer and the airline).
For any personal expenses (except the commitment of the BTM Committee) which must be
settled with the hotel prior to departure.
For travel and accommodation provided by the host destination for a Pre-Show Tour
and / or Post-Show Tour. Any replacement transportation and other costs incurred in
relation to the above will be at the expense of the Buyer.
Individual visa requirements, travel permits, other licenses and inoculations will
be the sole responsibility of the Buyer including any necessary costs incurred.
BTM and its organizers EHTTOA shall not be liable for loss, damage or delay
resulting from acts of god beyond the control of the organizers. BTM reserves the
right to reschedule the Exhibition at another date and / or at an alternative venue.
BTM reserves the right to cancel registration of any buyer at any point of time
without assigning any reason.
No action arising out of or in connection with the buyer’s attendance at the
exhibition may be brought by either party more than one year after such cause of
action accrues.
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Siliguri Sub-Divisional Magistrate.
FAM Tours
If you are accepted as a Buyer by the BTM Committee and have indicated your interest
for a FAM Tour, and should you be approved for the same, the following terms and
conditions will apply:
Acceptance for a Post Show tour is at the sole discretion of the BTM Committee. All
such decisions are final.
Accommodation during Tours will be provided on double occupancy basis. (Single
Occupancy will be available on special request at additional rates)
General Terms
Applicants must be over the age of 21 years.
Successful Applicants will only be accepted as Buyers if they have read and agreed
to these Terms and Conditions and have ticked the relevant boxes on the online
application form.
All sections of the application form must be completed. Failure to do so will result
in the application not being processed.
People accompanying any Buyer are not included in any offers regarding the Buyer
Program.
The BTM reserves the right to remove a Buyer from the Buyer Program and to withdraw
the accommodation and Pre-Scheduled Appointments at its complete discretion without
liability if it is in the best interests of the Exhibition and the Exhibitors or
their attendance is likely to damage the goodwill or reputation of the Exhibition.
Any disputes arising under these terms will be governed by the laws of India,
without giving effect to principles of conflicts of law there under, and are subject
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Siliguri Courts under IPC (Indian Penal Code).
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you are consenting under all relevant
data protection legislation to BTM communicating with you by telephone, SMS, fax,
email and by post and using your personal Information for internal processing and
for disclosure to third parties such as Travel Operators, Hotels and Exhibitors in
connection with your attendance at the Exhibition. In addition, we may use your
details to invite you to other events organized by us.
Submissions
Buyers will need to submit the following:
Appointment sheets – Signed by exhibitors at the BTM has to be returned on the last
day of the exhibition.
Event Feedback Forms – Completed by the buyer, has to be returned on the last day of
the exhibition.
Fam Tour Feedback Forms – Duly filled by the Buyers.
Submit copies of their Business Cards as and when needed.
SELLERS / EXHIBITORS
Participation in Bengal Travel Mart as a Seller /
Exhibitor is subject to the following terms & conditions.
The Fast Action Order Form should be duly filled and signed by an authorised person
along with company seal and submitted with requisite payment. Alternatively,
applications may be made on participant's letterhead with payment. In any case, the
booking will be subject to these Terms & Conditions governing participation.
Interest @2.5% per month will be charged for delayed payment.
Order acceptance shall be complete only when our written confirmation and Bill is
received by the Applicants.
The allotment and location of stalls shall be at the sole discretion of the
Organisers. Even if a location has been indicated, the organiser reserves the right
to change the same. No stall numbers are allotted in advance.
Any Exhibitor appointing Contractor to build customised booth shall get the booth
design approved from the organiser, at least 15 days prior to the event. The
Exhibitor / Booth Contractor shall also get the Electrical Work inspected and No
Objection Certificate (NOC) issued from the Official Electrical Contractor appointed
by the organiser.
Exhibitors will not be allowed to sub-let or divide their stands unless a special
written permission has been obtained from the organisers. Violation of this clause
will lead to additional payment liability as decided by the organisers.
Exhibits must not be placed beyond the stand booked by the Exhibitor from the
Organiser in which case, the Organiser reserves the right to charge @ 100% of the
rate contracted, for the additional stall charges, over and above the charges for
the actual stand booked. The distribution of brochures from the gangways is strictly
forbidden. Equipment presentations, artistic shows and other promotional activities
of the Exhibitor must be consulted with the Organiser in advance and cannot hinder
or make impossible the operation of other stands or the free movement of
participants and public.
Name board fascia will be exactly as per this order and no change on-the-spot will
be entertained. If the fascia name is specified on-the spot, the same may be
arranged by our contractors again on additional charge of Rs. 2000/-, on
first-come-first-served basis.
The Exhibitor shall bear the total financial responsibility for the equipment and
stand fittings provided by the Organiser. Costs of all damages and losses arising
from improper use of the stand shall be borne by the Exhibitor.
Amounts due for participation charges and extra services shall be paid in full
before taking possession of the stall. The Organiser shall be entitled to annul the
Exhibitors' participation in the Fair without the right to damages in virtue thereof
if the participation charges has not been paid before taking possession.
The Organiser shall not insure or take responsibility for the Exhibitor's property.
Exhibitors taking part in the Fair shall themselves ensure their property against
burglary, fire and other Acts of God. The Organiser shall not be liable for damages
resulting from theft, fire, gale, stroke of lightning, explosion, flood, cuts in
power supply or other causes beyond the control of the Organiser.
Exhibitors shall not be entitled to cancel this agreement without the express
written permission of the organisers and on terms acceptable to the organisers.
Any disputes arising from the fulfillment of provisions contained in "The Terms and
Conditions of Participation" shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of a civil court
competent at the registered address of the Organiser. Any and all matters pertaining
to the event not specifically covered by this contract and the rules and regulations
as described in the Exhibitor's Information & Order Book, shall be subject to
determination by the organiser. The organisers reserve the right to add or alter
these regulations at any time.
The exhibition may be postponed/shortened due to any cause whatsoever beyond the
control of the Organisers. The Organisers shall not be responsible for any loss
sustained by the exhibitors directly or indirectly, attributable to the elements of
nature, force majeure or orders or directives imposed by any Governmental
authorities. In such circumstances, the money paid by the exhibitors or any part
thereof may be refunded at the sole discretion of the Organisers.
Use or public address systems, audio-visual systems and height of displays in the
space booked is subject to no inconvenience to other participants and the organisers
decisions in this regard shall be final.
