This B2B event has been carefully thought out and planned in such a way that sellers and potential buyers of services (companies working with VIP clients) have the opportunity to establish partnerships within the space of a single day or 2 days. The main aim is to expand the geography of sales of the exhibition’s participants and also to introduce players to new areas and services to which they previously did not have access.

General Travel Fair has been planned at the Bengal Travel Mart 2018 so that general public can take part in BTM and they can be informed about the new products or development or govt. projects within the state. Thus promoting the within state tourist movements.

West Bengal aims to become a preferred tourism related investment destination by leveraging its unique geographical setting along with its various tourism-related assets. It will develop necessary infrastructure and promote tourism in an integrated manner which will not only bring in more investment and further the socio-economic goals of the Government, but also ensure that all these are in conformity with the relevant acts, rules and regulations relating to environmental protection.

  • A unified message to tourism industry of the country of a serious consorted effort of the government and private stakeholders to promote West Bengal as a tourist destination.
  • Providing small stakeholders of North Bengal a National Level marketing platform at their backyard.
  • Promotion of Homestay and Rural Tourism and thus provide impetus to rural economy of West Bengal. Promoting alternative livelihood to rural people and reducing migration of labour.
  • Promotion of Intra state tourist movement.
